The Irish Upland Area of the Year award is our way of giving recognition to the mountain / hill range in Ireland which walkers collectively identify as having been their favourite during the year. There are 125 distinctly separate mountain / hill ranges in Ireland. The perimeters and boundaries of these upland areas were defined by Kieron Gribbon in 2015 while compiling the Irish Range High Points list.
Vote for your favourite by taking part in The Ireland Walking Survey (via the green button below). The mountain / hill range which attracts most votes each year will become the Irish Upland Area of the Year.
