Walks in County Tipperary Tipperary is a landlocked county in the south of Ireland. It is one of six counties which together comprise the province of Munster. Tipperary shares boundaries with eight other counties – four of which are also in Munster (Waterford, Cork, Limerick and Clare), one in Connacht (Galway) and three in Leinster (Offaly, Laois and Kilkenny). The County High Point of Tipperary is near the 919m summit of Galtymore Mountain.
