The goal in this unique Irish Highpointeering challenge is to visit any 25 of Ireland's 187 major geographical High Points within a single Sport Hillwalking season. Each High Point location is worth a single point in this eight-month-long challenge and can only be counted once.
The 25 Irish High Points Challenge also gives participants an opportunity to pursue our annual Irish Highpointeer of the Year award. At the end of the Sport Hillwalking season, the man and woman who logs visits to more High Points than anyone else using the Peakhunter app will receive the Irish Highpointeer of the Year award.
Peakhunter is our official logging partner.
